Church Owner's Representation in Southern California
As your dedicated church owner's representative, we protect your congregation's budget, schedule, and vision. We sit on your side of the table to manage the architect, general contractor, and vendors from the first idea to the final Sunday service.
Who This Is For
We serve pastors, volunteer building committees, and diocese leadership who are tasked with making million-dollar decisions but lack the time or technical expertise to manage a major construction project. If you are balancing ministry with a complex building program, we are your dedicated project leaders.
What We Do
- Feasibility and budget review
- Architect and GC procurement with bid leveling
- Contract review and negotiation
- Change-order defense and schedule enforcement
- Board-ready reporting
- Pay-application verification
- Project closeout and turnover
Our 5-Phase Process
Phase 1: Project Initiation & Budgeting
Establishing the baseline budget, schedule, and project goals before any major commitments are made.
Phase 2: Design Management
Leading the architect and engineering teams to ensure the design stays within the approved budget.
Phase 3: Procurement & Bidding
Qualifying contractors, managing the bid process, leveling bids, and negotiating final contracts.
Phase 4: Construction Oversight
Weekly site meetings, quality control, change-order defense, and schedule enforcement.
Phase 5: Closeout & Occupancy
Managing punch lists, warranties, training, and final financial reconciliation for a smooth handover.
Churches deserve to know how their advisor is paid.
Every engagement is a fixed, written proposal after a free assessment - no open-ended hourly billing. Our fee can be structured as a percentage of the board-approved project budget, locked at that baseline: if costs rise, our fee doesn't. For some projects, part of our fee can be tied to documented construction savings we deliver against the approved budget - so we only do better when the church does.
The Conflict of Interest Problem
When a contractor or design-build firm supplies their own "owner's representative," who are they actually representing? We remain independent. We do not build. We do not design. We only represent the church, ensuring that every dollar spent is verified and every contract is strictly enforced.
